I designed the brand identity and additional promotional material for Free Play!, an exhibition for queer video game developers and artists. The branding drew inspiration from the innovation and eclecticism of early pixel video games, which paved the way for the high-definition, glossy-animated games that we often play today. It features Moawβs pixel character, Buggy.

The pastel rainbow color palette nods to the conventional rainbow symbol of queerness, with a spirited twist that posits the design as a playful experience in itself.
For the promotional poster, I applied pixel motifs with various techniques, from the skewed confetti pattern to the colored squares, reminiscent of a static TV.
