Poster design

To compile information about typography and letter anatomy, I designed a poster with the theme of ‘90s computer technology and interfaces. Growing up as a digital native, it was fascinating to read about the development of digital design from Susan Kare’s Chicago pixel typeface to the rise of material design and UI/UX interfaces. Although I wasn’t even alive during early Internet days, its aesthetics evoke a nostalgia that compels me to revisit the bright colors, pixel icons, and lo-fi websites. I incorporated different letter parts into chat boxes about NSYNC, Windows instructional manual texts, and the chaos of multiple browser windows open at once. The concept and bizarre visual layout draws the viewer in to read more.
